Keep brand and product names in English unless there is an official localized name. Keep units and numbers as in the source unless your language has strong conventions. Placeholders & Special Characters Do not modify placeholders such as {0}, {1}, {name}, %s, %d. Preserve the exact number of line breaks . Style & Length Avoid leading/trailing spaces. Try not to exceed the source length for short UI strings. Do not add a period/exclamation mark if the source has none, and do not remove it if the source has one.
