Tout allait bien tant que les époques étaient peu documentées. Mais quand on est arrivé à des périodes riches en sources et en mécaniques, les anciennes approches ont montré leurs limites. Причинно-следственные цепочки вместо скриптов. В обычной игре "засуха → голод" - это скрипт, написанный руками. В Nexus это факты: "засуха уменьшает траву", "нет травы → голод травоядных", "голод → миграция", "миграция → столкновения". Каждый факт простой.
Des chaînes de cause à effet à la place des scripts. Dans un jeu classique, "« sécheresse → famine" » est un script écrit à la main. Dans Nexus, ce sont des faits : "« la sécheresse réduit l'herbe", " », « pas d'herbe → famine des herbivores", " », « famine → migration", " », « migration → conflits" ». Chaque fait est simple.

Основа - триплеты (факты), формат из баз знаний и семантических сетей: субъект, предикат, объект. "Засуха вызывает голод" и "война вызывает миграцию" - одна и та же структура. Не важно, описываешь ты природные явления или социальные процессы - формат один.
La base, ce sont les triplets (faits), un format issu des bases de connaissances et des réseaux sémantiques : sujet, prédicat, objet. "« La sécheresse cause la famine" » et "« la guerre cause la migration" » - c'est la même structure. Qu'on décrive des phénomènes naturels ou des processus sociaux, le format est le même.

Годы разработки. Каждый раз - изобретение механик и выстраивание их в системы. Хочешь добавить голод - пишешь систему голода. Хочешь, чтобы голод вызывал миграцию - добавляешь миграцию и выстраиваешь между ними связи. Хочешь, чтобы миграции вызывали войны - ещё одна связь, ещё один код, ещё месяцы работы.
Des années de développement. À chaque fois, il faut inventer des mécaniques et les assembler en systèmes. TuOn veuxt ajouter la faim - tuon codes un système de faim. TuOn veuxt que la faim provoque des migrations - tuon ajoutes la migration et tuon relies les deux. TuOn veuxt que les migrations déclenchent des guerres - encore une liaison, encore du code, encore des mois de travail.
